League of Legends: "Spiritual Blossom" Launches as Biggest Event to Date

The Spiritual Blooms event started in League of Legends and promises to become the biggest and longest event ever made within the game. There will be 18 skins in total, with 6 of them already released, another 4 already revealed and 8 still mysterious. Two new champions also arrive in this patch, Lilia, who was released yesterday with the launch of the event, and Yone (Yasuo's brother) who arrives with the second wave of skins on August 6th. The event started yesterday, July 22nd, and will end only on August 24th, lasting a total of 4 patches.

    18 new skins:

    League of Legends:

Leaked skin of the new champion Yone

Among the skins revealed and released, we have already available in the shop Lilia Spirit Blossom, Thresh Spirit Blossom (legendary), Teemo Spirit Blossom , Teemo Spirit Blossom Prestige Edition (2000 event points), Yasuo Spirit Blossom and Vayne Spirit Blossom. Among those revealed for the next wave are Ahri Spirit Bloom (legendary), Cassiopeia Spirit Bloom, Kindreds Spirit Bloom, and Riven Spirit Bloom. Yone will arrive in the next wave that has not yet had much information revealed, but it is confirmed that Yone will arrive accompanied by a Spiritual Bloom skin.

Check out Yone's teaser animation in this Spiritual Bloom event:

In addition to the skins and new champions, the event brings with it two pass purchase options, for 1650 RP and 2650 RP. The first option only guarantees the pass, 4 event orbs and 200 emblems. The more expensive version comes with the Spirit Blossom Teemo skin, its respective border, icon, and Spirit Blossom ward skin.

Without the purchased pass, the event has many limitations. Unlike all pass events in the past, the Spirit Bloom event has a different dynamic. Usually, several missions are added to be completed by playing. Whether it's the amount of victories, enemies defeated or gold earned, typically the rewards throughout the event are given for these missions.

    League of Legends:

    Pass Spiritual Flowering

Among the rewards are exclusive emblems, emotes and icons. Whoever buys the pass earns a total of 25 prestige points, 2 gems, 1500 blue essences, 500 orange essences and many other rewards. Whoever owns the pass also earns badges for every game played. With these badges you can buy Teemo's prestige skin, orbs, exclusive event chromas, event skin borders, and some other rewards. Those who don't buy the pass also don't receive these special missions mentioned above, but they can still interact limitedly.

    New dynamics:

    League of Legends:

Champion affinity system, raise the grade with each of them to unlock rewards.

The very different dynamic in this event is based on affinity with the champions who received the new skins. With an Asian feel, this Spirit Bloom event features small novels to tell the story of each of the selected champions within the spirit world. Everything happens through dialogs with interactive options for answers for each one of them. As you talk to them, you discover what you should do to improve your affinity with each of them. With each affinity level, you receive emblem rewards and unlock new chapters of their respective stories. Upon reaching maximum level, you acquire an emote exclusive to the character in question. If you don't have the pass, you can only get 3 emotes, if you have the pass you can get up to 5 emotes.

The Nexus Blitz rotating mode has also returned for this event and with a new Spirit Bloom themed map. The next steps are the releases of the skins already revealed, the release of Yone and the reveal of the remaining skins. With such a long event, the ability to farm emblems increases significantly, but Riot has increased the difficulty of getting them and the amount you can get each match.
