[League of Legends: Wild Rift] Riot Games announces LoL version for smartphones and consoles

Recently, the Riot Games studio, after its game League of Legends (LoL) completed a decade on the PC platform, decided to announce a version for the mobile platform and for consoles. Called League of Legends: Wild Rift, the game arrives with sensitive changes compared to the PC version. The tests before its launch will start this year.

Among the changes made in LoL Wild Rift, we have a new user interface, a control mode with two sticks and a focus to play games of a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes.

Wild Rift features the same five-versus-five-player gameplay as the PC version. The game was built from scratch for the new platforms and will be released for Android and iOS in the year 2020.

There are no minimum requirements to play League of Legends: Wild Rift, Riot Games' goal is to make the game as accessible as possible. According to the developers of the title, the current goal is to make the game run on the devices below:

• Samsung Galaxy A7: 1 GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and Adreno 306 GPU.
• iPhone 5S and later

At the same time, the Teamfight Tactics game was also announced to debut on mobile phones, as a separate, standalone app. The interesting thing is that there will be crossplay with PC platform players. Wild Rift, unfortunately, will not have the possibility of corssplay between platforms.

Teamfight Tactics is scheduled for release in 2020 (no exact date yet).
