According to Capcom, the film should please as many fans of the game as the rest of the public. "It's an adaptation that maintains the game world and still brings all those big Hollywood productions stuff," reads the press release.

We have no information on the release date or even the cast chosen for the new film.

As a reminder, the first Mega Man was released in 1987 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The production tells the story of a robot built by Dr. Light to face his former colleague, Dr. Wily. As a great feature of the game's character is the ability to embody the abilities of enemies.
