The first list of original Xbox games will be available from this Tuesday (24) to the Xbox One digital backwards compatibility system, Microsoft confirmed. The initial offer comes with 13 titles, in which Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Ninja Gaiden Black are included.
The titles, in addition to running on the new generation console, now have 1080p resolution, in addition to shorter loading times and higher frame rates.
The same system is present with Xbox 360 games. Therefore, those who have the original discs can use them on Xbox One for validation, while other games must be purchased digitally.

Microsoft intends with the backwards compatibility of the games of the first Xbox a greater integration of its line of consoles, making with that old games can be played in the current consoles.
In total there are more than 300 Xbox 360 titles backwards compatible with Microsoft's current generation consoles. The company points out that it intends to do the same with the original Xbox, with games that were highlights such as Jade Empire, Project Gotham Racing 2 and Crisis 3, for example.
