Microsoft's xCloud beta arrives today on iOS and PC

Today Microsoft's game streaming service, xCloud (Xbox Cloud Gaming) officially arrives for PC and iOS. The platform will be available through browsers such as Chrome, Opera, Safari, Firefox. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now access Xbox games using an iPhone, iPad or computer. However, this is the inauguration of the beta version for the platform and few players will have access to it at this first moment.

How to Access xCloud Beta on iOS or PC

To access the beta version of xCloud on PC, one must go to this website. Through this page, Xbox Game Pass subscribers who have been invited to the beta phase will be able to access Xbox games using browsers such as Edge, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Opera. There are more than 100 titles available that users will be able to test through a Bluetooth controller, USB or even using custom touch controls.

Microsoft's head of xCloud, Catherine Gluckstein, says:

"Limited beta is our turn to test and learn; we will continually send more invites to players in all 22 supported countries, measure feedback, continue to improve the experience, and add support for more devices. Our plan is to iterate quickly and open for all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in the coming months so more people have the opportunity to play Xbox in entirely new ways."

Last year Microsoft released xCloud exclusively for Android smartphones and tablets. Now the implementation of Xbox Cloud Gaming is coming for PC and iOS users.
