New football game! Goals will compete with FIFA and eFootball

FIFA and eFootball, the old PES, will finally have a new competitor. at least that's what GOALS, the newest football game, wants to be. Made by Andreas Thorstensson, the founder of SK Gaming, GOALS is a new title that will try to show itself as a good option for football fans.

Focusing on the new generation of consoles, the game will be free and will have crossplay support. Something interesting is the fact that Andreas Thorstensson decided to develop the game, precisely because he was a fan disappointed of FIFA.

GOALS will be a competitive game

One of FIFA's biggest problems is the handicap. Although EA guarantees that the same does not exist, the handicap is one of the biggest complaints from players, causing a lot of discontent from fans who feel something extremely unfair in the EA Sports franchise.

Andreas Thorstensson was also one of these disappointed fans, with this being the big incentive for GOALS to emerge. After playing more than 5 thousand non-mode games Ultimate Team, FIFA's gold mine, Thorstensson felt there was no prospect for EA's game to get better, leaving problems in the past. So the fan decided to develop their own game.

Thorstensson guarantees that GOALS will be fluid and will not present problems with lag, in addition to stating that the focus will be on multiplayer and that the game will be ready for the competitive scenario.

"Freedom opens up the football genre to more players and crossplay allows friends to play against each other regardless of platform. We see no reason why the world's most popular sport isn't one of the biggest games in the world."

The creator of GOALS also guaranteed that the title will not have a handicap, causing matches to be resolved only with player skills.

Developers and designers are being hired for the project, which should take a while to get to market.
