"Nintendo Switch Pro" to be revealed before E3 and will have LED and DLSS

Apparently, Nintendo has plans to start production on the new Switch in July and launch it in September or October. The information comes from sources on the Bloomberg website who are familiar with the matter.

    Price and release date

It is believed that the new Nintendo Switch will sell for a higher price than its original version which came in at $299. The console is expected to be announced before E3, which starts on June 12, so that publishers will be able to present various titles for the Japanese console during the event. According to the sources familiar with the matter, the new Nintendo Switch will be sold in the market alongside the Switch Lite ($199), and over time, the standard Switch will be discontinued.

The factories responsible for assembling the new Nintendo Switch, whose name is still unknown, will start shipping the console in July and the peak of production is scheduled for October-December, the date for the probable launch of the new video game.

What is expected for the new Nintendo Switch?

Speculation says that the new Nintendo Switch will use a 7-inch OLED screen from Samsung. It is believed that Nintendo will choose to keep the display resolution at 720p to increase battery life. However, it is said that the mobile console will use a powerful chipset developed by NVIDIA that supports DLSS.

If the above information about the specifications of the new Switch version is confirmed, the console will be able to stream 4K images to the TV when it is docked in its base. DLSS is expected to be implemented in upcoming game releases and will also be made available for older titles that are popular.
