One Piece Pirate Wars 4 has four online co-op mission modes revealed

It was recently revealed in the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Weeklly Jump that the game One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 will have four modes of online cooperative missions. With the approach of its debut, scheduled for March, the game gains more and more details.

Check out the four co-op mission modes below:

• Giant Boss Battle - Four players cooperate in battles against massive bosses such as Kaido.
• Total Bounty Battle - Cooperate with a friend and increase your bounty.
• Timed Defense Battle - Defend your team's territory.
• Territory Battle - Three teams of four characters fight for territory.

It is not yet known if the Terrytory Battle mode will support 12 players. But it is possible that there will be a four-player type that will play cooperatively against two CPU teams (each made up of 4 characters).

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 continues in the same vein since its first version, where you control Luffy and his companions, as well as other characters that go through the story of the crew throughout their adventures. The player moves around the scenario deferring attacks against hundreds of enemies (literally) in search of completing the objectives required to pass the stage in which he is. The game's graphics received improvements over previous versions and, of course, increased the story to accompany the animation of the work.

I remember importing a Japanese game for the first time to Plastation 3 just because of the One Piece work. As they were saying that I didn't really need to read what was being said in Japanese and the game's menu was easy to get the mechanism, I decided to take a risk and buy the first great game of the pirates. I didn't regret it one bit, because the game is based on the animation story, where you go through several iconic scenarios controlling one of the characters from One Piece and deferring several attacks against hundreds of enemies (literally) that fly through the air.

Three versions have been announced for One Piece Pirate Warriors 4, the standard, the deluxe and the collector's version, which you can check out here. The title will be released on March 26, 2020 in Japan for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam). For the west the game will be released a day later, March 27.
