If you intended to attend, or at least watch, the Overwatch launch event on the Nintendo Switch platform in New York, you might be disappointed as Blizzard recently announced the cancellation of the event. The announcement was made through the official Nintendo New York account.
"Please be aware that the previously announced Overwatch launch event scheduled for Wednesday, 16/10 at NintendoNYC has been canceled by Blizzard. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

The game developer may be expecting a demonstration tomorrow, when the event would be held. However, the reason that led to the cancellation may have been another completely different.
