2021 will bring a lot of interesting games. The year that has not yet delivered very prominent titles, with the exception of the fantastic Hitman 3, should offer good adventures in the months to come. Titles such as the new God of War, Horizon: Forbidden West, Resident Evil Village and others will undoubtedly arrive with excitement.
On the PS Blog, PlayStation decided to do a story about which games developers are most looking forward to playing in 2021 - and even beyond -, which resulted in a list full of interesting names.

The most awaited games by developers
O novo God of War
The new God of War obviously had to appear on this list. The next title in Kratos' journey is one of the most anticipated games by the public this year and certainly the developers appreciate the demigod saga too.
The continuation of the story of Kratos and Atreus was chosen by developers Brian Horton, creative director at Insomniac Games, and Kevin Zuhn, creative director at Young Horses. In addition, the game is also the most anticipated by Hermen Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios.

"Playing God of War in 2018 was a great experience for me. This series has always had incredible action and combat, but the emotional depth that Santa Monica brought to Kratos' story as a father was very memorable - especially since my son was just a little older than Atreus when I played it. So seeing and hearing the reaction to this little glimpse we revealed at PlayStation Showcase last September was pretty exciting. I can't wait for people to see what Santa Monica is up to."
Elden Ring
Elden Ring is another highly anticipated title by gamers. The partnership between Hidetaka Miyazaki and Georg RR Martin has many fans looking forward to the project, including Ryan Payton, director of Camouflaj.
The director believes that Elden Ring can be even better than everyone expects. Check out what Payton said about his most anticipated game.
"I don't think people realize just how primed FromSoftware for greatness is with its next title. Since the original Demon's Souls was released a decade ago, this prolific Japanese studio has continued to hone its craft, while consistently innovating throughout out of the way, and now stands as one of the world's leading game developers. While we all know little about Elden Ring, I have a hunch that FromSoftware is up to something extremely special and I can't wait to get my hands on it."
Horizon forbidden west
Forbidden West featured prominently in the PS Blog article with several developers choosing it as the most anticipated title. Aloy's adventure has caught the attention of both players and professionals in the field, which makes the title one of the top names to come soon.
Employees from Santa Monica, Sucker Punch, Ubisoft, Crystal Dynamics and more have revealed that they are looking forward to the new Horizon.
Check out what Rafael Grassetti, a Spanish art director at Santa Monica, said about the new Guerrilla game.
"I can't wait to get back into this universe and see where Guerrilla takes this franchise. What I've seen so far looks amazing and my expectations are very high."
Others games
Other games were also picked as developer favorites, with titles like Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Little Devil Inside, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart appearing in the story.
Deathloop, a game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda, also proved to be one of the developers' favorites, being cited by names of different studios.
