It had already been talked about previously in the leaks that there were about the specifications of the Playstation 5 about some of the console's capabilities. But nothing had been demonstrated by testing.
During the Sony IR Day 2019 event that took place in the city of Tokyo, Japan, the Japanese Sony spoke about the new generation of its Playstation console, the PS5, telling about the experiences it will provide to players.
Sony President and CEO Kenichiro Yoshida demonstrated to investors and analysts the main features that the new console will have promising to take the user experience to a new level.
In addition to confirming that the Playstation 5 will have backward compatibility with PS4 games, he said that the new console supports several formats. Next generation users will be able to choose between physical Blu-ray media, digital media and streaming (via PS Now).

Kenichiro also promised that the console will provide an immersive experience and it will be uninterrupted.
Utilizing a custom SSD coupled with the greater processing power of the new generation of the console, the PS5 will make loading screens practically disappear or actually disappear.

Sony wants to make the motto "Playstation is the best place to play" real by combining advances in hardware, streaming and cloud.
Sony Interactive Entertainment's Jim Eyan dropped the following phrase "The power of new technology to deliver completely transformative and immersive gaming experiences"
