PUBG developer considers disabling keyboard and mouse support on Xbox One

On Xbox One, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds players reach five million, on consoles, where many make use of third party devices to play with keyboard and mouse, which in practice, if support is even disabled, players will not will be able to continue using these devices.

PUBG Community Coordinator Dan "RoboDanjal", when asked about this possibility, tweeted, "We've been collecting information from the game over the past few months. While usage of these devices is statistically very low, fair gameplay is critical to our experience. , and we want to be communicating our plan to reduce usage of these devices soon."

We have been gathering in-game information regarding Third Party device usage over the past few months. Although usage of these devices is statistically very low, fair gameplay is core to our experience, and we will be communicating our plan to curb the use of these devices soon.

With this, it is clear that there is an intention to implement changes regarding the use of these devices, but it is not known when they will be implemented. In February, the same answer had already been given to the PUBG forums, but without disclosing a date for implementing the change.

However, recently, PUBG announced that it will give players who log in before May 1st, a skin commemorating its first anniversary for the SCAR L weapon. The title was released on Steam in advance on March 23, 2017 and the Skin Year One - SCAR L is being made available to players who log in by May 1st as a thank you.

      players,

We are always working to improve the game environment. This includes providing a smooth networking experience for our players. You all know that we've implemented a ping-based matchmaking system that has shown great results, but we didn't want to stop there.

Those who live in that region can connect and play one of the solutions. These servers want to be invisible to players residing in other regions. But at the same time, if a player in the exclusive server region teams up with a player from another region, they can connect and play on any of the servers available to any of them.

A better gaming experience as it wants to improve network issues and help with language barriers. We're going to do a limited test of this approach.

They are trying to use the live servers. We want to announce the timeline for the live server update soon.
