PUBG: New State - The story

PUBG: New State is set in the same universe as PUBG Classic, a few decades in the future - 2051, specifically. Information on what exactly happened to the PUBG universe in the decades between this and the original PUBG is scarce at the moment, but we know from the trailer that the new map is called "TROI". The Play Store description reads: "In 2051, anarchy reigns as various factions fight each other."

We know that the new PUBG bears a resemblance to PUBG Mobile, but with some futuristic touches, especially the new gadgets visible in the trailer. You can see drones, quick-deploying shields, and motorcycles with glowing lights on their TRON-style wheels.

Players will also be able to customize their weapons with in-game kits, which include fire mode selection and grenade launcher accessories. You can now pre-register the game on Google Play Store, iOS pre-registration will start soon. According to the New State website, pre-registration will net you an exclusive vehicle skin.
