PUBG: New State will enter alpha phase this quarter

PUBG: New State will enter alpha phase this quarter

Earlier this year, the team behind PUBG announced that they would make a new game called PUBG: New State, now a general deadline for an alpha test release has been confirmed. During the initial announcement, testing for the game was mentioned, but only with a "someday this year" release window.

This morning, however, Krafton Inc. stated when players can expect to see alpha testing roll out for everyone. "PUBG:New State is expected to have an alpha release in the coming months." However, it was not announced which regions will receive the Alpha for testing, so players of the mobile version of PUBG are not very excited.

PUBG: New State, will start new alpha testing that will start now in Q2 2021

With the month of April starting, the only certainty we can have is that the Alpha testing phase of the new game arrives until the end of June and that in itself is frustrating, after all when a pre-registration like this is open, we count on the game reach everyone as soon as possible.

After the CyberPunk 2077 fiasco on other platforms, no one definitely gets into the hype of the releases anymore, so it's better that the company understands this, release the alpha, the beta and launch the game, preferably without bugs that cause a rain of memes around the world. Internet.

Krafton Inc. states that alpha testing will be implemented "in selected regions", but does not mention which regions those are. One thing that is important to note here, however, is the use of the word "tests" and not "test".

This probably means there is more than one test planned. Or, that several regions will be included in the test phase. What seems more likely is that there are both. It's likely that multiple regions will be included in the test, but it's also likely that there will be more than one test to go through before moving into the game's beta.

    All this without counting iOS!

Krafton and PUBG Studio stated that more details about testing will come. Currently, more than 10 million players have pre-registered, another great detail of today's announcement is that the game does not stop receiving pre-registrations and today's numbers indicate that pre-registrations have doubled over the course of a month.

On March 5th, Krafton and PUBG Studio announced that over 5 million users had pre-registered for access to the game when it launches. So it seems that millions of users are, like me, looking forward to the new Battle Royale.

Most impressively, this did not include any pre-registration for iOS, only Android. So in the coming weeks and months, that number is likely to increase much more. Those who pre-register will receive some special in-game rewards. However, pre-registration does not necessarily guarantee that you will have access to any alpha or beta tests that appear.
