    PUBG reaches 5 million players on Xbox One

      In a post on Xbox Wire on March 15th, Microsoft revealed the success of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which reached 5 million players on Xbox One. The game was already quite famous on the PC, and now, in less than three months, it has reached this enviable milestone. The company says it is very excited that the community is continuing to grow, and that reaching these numbers is a huge accomplishment.

      They also say they appreciate the feedback they've received from the community that helps create the so-called best and most realistic Battle Royale experience. In the statement, Sammie Kang, Community Manager, notifies: "We just released the ninth optimization patch on March 2nd, which improved vehicle feedback, sound effects, matchmaking, and more."



      The company had also shared its spring development roadmap, with details on what to expect in the year, including the release of the second map. In recognition of the 5 million, the company released a video with players from around the world, in honor of the PUBG community.

      And yet, in celebration of the milestone, the company decided to gift the player community with an exclusive item, the PUBG5 coat, which carries the 5 million number on its back. The reward will arrive for players who log into the game on Xbox One by March 22nd.
