Grand Theft Auto e Red Dead Redemption are two of the main franchises in the history of the video game industry, with numbers and weight releases proving the greatness of both over all these years. Now, in a Take-Two Interactive's recent fiscal report, the success of the franchises is even more evident, with new impressive numbers being presented to the public.
In its financial report, the Rockstar owner revealed that Grand Theft Auto 5, the latest title in the franchise, has already surpassed the 160 million of units sold worldwide. Already Red Dead Redemption 2, the great western hit, has already reached the mark of 43 million units sold.

Grand Theft Auto V remains an "immortal" title, with each new year making it an even more important release in the entire history of the industry. Even years after its release, GTA 5 continues to show excellent sales performance. In November of last year, the title had already reached the mark of 155 million units sold, with another 5 million appearing in that account now.
GTA 5 is the most successful title in the franchise, being responsible for a large part of the general sales of a saga that already has several successful releases. Since its debut on PlayStation 1, the Grand Theft Auto franchise has sold over 370 million units. It is worth remembering that sales of GTA 5 will probably increase considerably when the title wins its version for the current generation of consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S).
The 43 million copies sold of Red Dead Redemption 2 show the strength of the western franchise, which has sold a total of 65 million copies including Red Dead Redemption 1, Red Dead Redemption 2 and the standalone version of Red Dead Online.
