Resident Evil could get an exclusive title for Nintendo Switch later this year

Even though the Resident Evil series will already win a new title this year, Resident Evil Village, it doesn't mean that it will be the only novelty of the franchise for 2021. According to a reliable leaker (person who leaks information before official announcements), Capcom would be planning a new Resident Evil title exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

According to the leaker nicknamed Dusk Golem, Capcom would be developing a project called Resident Evil Outrage. According to Dusk, the studio would release the new title in late 2021 or early 2022. Analyzing the report, the new game seems to be exclusive to Nintendo Switch. In addition, it has been said that the game will be similar to Resident Evil Revelations.

Considering that the original RE Revelations was only released for Nintendo 3DS, it makes perfect sense that Resident Evil Outrage follows the same pattern as they will have similar characteristics. According to Dusk, Resident Evil Outrage should be released within 1 year of RE Village's debut. All this optimism comes from the franchise's 25th anniversary celebration, showing affection for the franchise's fans.

Evidence of the coming of Resident Evil Outrage

In case you are doubting what Dusk Golem said, there is evidence that backs up the leaker's claims. Last year, during the massive leak that took place at Capcom, Resident Evil Outrage was mentioned. However, unfortunately there were no further details about the new title at that time.
