One of the biggest franchises in the history of the gaming world, Resident Evil, reached the mark of more than 90 million units sold.
The franchise is old, starting in 1996 with the release of Resident Evil for PlayStation. So far, the franchise has a total of 28 games released on the most different platforms.
The saga is the best-selling from Capcom, the game's developer. The studio also owns other major franchises.
The most recent game released in the franchise is Resident Evil 2 Remake, which was released in January of this year and brought the story of the classic 1998 game. The game is a critical and sales success, having already reached 4 million units shipped to stores on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
In the first week of launch, the number reached 3 million, so in a short period another 1 million units were transferred.
Nintendo Switch will receive three Resident Evil titles in May
According to the game's official Twitter account, the Nintendo Switch will receive three Resident Evil titles on May 21. They are: Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil HD Remaster and Resident Evil 4.
Now, Nintendo Switch players will also be able to experience the classics. Let's wait if Capcom will also make Resident Evil 2 Remake available for the console.
Pre-sales for the games start on February 28.
