[Samurai Shodown] Game gets second trailer for Nintendo Switch

Recently, the publisher SNK revealed another trailer for Samurai Shodown for the Nintendo Switch platform, which has some differences in relation to other consoles and PC. The game developed by Yasuyuki Oda, uses Epic Games' Unreal Engine to produce differentiated graphics, quite different from the first title in the franchise, released in 1993.

Samurai Shodown, known as Samurai Spirits in Japan, will be playable on Nintendo Switch in TV mode, tabletop mode and handheld mode. In addition, it is interesting to note that in TV and table mode it will be possible for two players to play the game at the same time, using a Joy-con each.

Those who pre-ordered the title will have access to the Switch ported game of Samurai Shodown II (Shin Samurai Spirits: Haohmaru jigokuhen in Japan)! The game was originally released for the Neo Geo Pocket Color in 1999 and it will be possible to play it controlling 32 fighters in the fights.

Samurai Shodown's base character options are 16 in total, 3 of which are brand new. Check out the trailer for the game for the Nintendo Switch platform below.

Samurai Shodown is now available for Playstation 4 and Xbox One platforms. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will be released on December 12 in Japan. There are also plans to release the game for PC and Google Stadia.
