Recently Sega released a short trailer for the game Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 (Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020), called "All the Fun". Produced by Nobuya Ohashi and developed by Sega Sports R&D studio (Sega Sports Japan), the game will be the next sports game developed by the company and will be based on the 2020 Olympic Games that will take place in Tokyo, Japan.
The new game Mario & Sonic is now in its sixth installment in the series, which consists of a crossover between Nintendo's Super Mario and Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog franchises. The last released version of the title took place in 2016 with Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games). Mario & Sonic will debut at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on November 1st in Asia, November 5th in the Americas and November 8th in Europe for the Nintendo Switch platform and in 2020 for Arcade.
