Sid Meiers Civilization VI free on the Epic Games Store

We all like a good discount, but nothing beats it when something is free. Every week, Epic Games' digital game distribution platform offers some free title, without any charge afterwards. To get the game, all you need to do is have an Epic Games Store account (of course, exposure to certain information can lead you to buy stuff, but that's okay). Last week the ball was big, it was about GTA V, which even brought down the platform's servers due to the large number of simultaneous accesses, and for this week we have Civilization VI.

Released in late 2016 by Firaxis Games in partnership with publisher 2K Games, Civilization VI was one of the strongest releases in the franchise. The 4X formula is as present as ever ("eXplore, eXpand, eXploit and eXterminate"), featuring some enhanced features and some refined ones (better graphics). In addition, there was a review of the general technology of the tech tree and the systems of government and ideology, introducing the mechanics of districts.

Briefly speaking about the changes: all the main buildings (barracks, library and others) have their own floor design, without looking like the rest of the city.

Anyway, Civilization VI is a turn-based strategy game where one or more players compete with each other alongside rivals controlled by the game's AI to increase their civilization.

To purchase a digital copy of Civilization VI, visit the Epic Games Store website. If you already have an account, just click the "Get" button and follow the instructions. You will be directed to the check-out, being able to receive alerts (emails), but the total cost will be R$0,00. This promotion will run until 12:00 (noon) on May 28 (Thursday).

It is important to note that this free copy of Civilization VI does not have any of the expansions (Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm). It also does not include the recently announced New Frontier season, which offers eight civilizations.
