    Sony may announce a major remake in December

    Sony may announce a great remake in December, according to information from Eabha McMahon, Irish singer-songwriter known as AVA.

    The singer claimed to have been responsible for write a song for a major PlayStation remake, which will be officially announced in the last month of 2021. Eabha McMahon also claimed to have worked alongside Michael McGlynn In this project. McGlynn is the score composer for Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

    It was in an interview with The Lunchbox, an Irish radio show, that the singer revealed "ahead of time" the information about this new major remake being prepared by PlayStation.

    Eabha McMahon stated that she started this project in the beginning of the pandemic, when Michael McGlynn got in touch. The singer revealed not to play video games, but cited the fact that McGlynn already has experience.

    "Yeah, that actually happened about a year and a half — it was right after the pandemic started. Michael McGlynn got in touch and just said, 'listen, we're writing music for a remake of a PlayStation game' — and he did a lot this, wrote a lot for different games that are very well known. But I don't play anything myself."

    Talking to presenter Geoff Harris, the singer also talked about the project being a big secret. Eabha McMahon stated that Sony still doesn't want to say too much about the title, but assured that it is a great remake.


    "For a long time I haven't been allowed to talk about — you don't know what you're writing for, it's all kind of secret because they don't want to show too much. So it's actually going to be announced at Christmas. I've heard about it and confirmed that it's a big game."
