    [Starcraft II] The game's artificial intelligence only lost to 0,2% of online players

      The laboratory responsible for conducting research on artificial intelligence (AI), DeepMind, revealed that its AlphaStar program showed that the game StarCraft II made advances with its AI system, being able to beat 99,8% of players who challenged the "machine ". The results generated by the software of the company managed by Google are being recorded and studied with the purpose of implementing some parameter in autonomous vehicles and robots in the future.

      The Star Craft II machine is trained through replays and strategies before entering the online match against a user. To face the game's intelligent system, simply enable the function in the game's menu. However, there are some limitations to face him, he is trained to play with three races, the human Earth and the aliens Protoss and Zerg.



      The game's "computer" actions are unlimited, managing to record 22 unduplicated actions every 5 seconds of play, with the aim of leveling its performance with that of the player. In the beginning, DeepMind made the entire map available for its AI system, however, in the middle of the year, the machine vision became limited according to the exploration, as it happens for the players. During the period, AlphaStar reached the level of grandmaster, considered the highest level in the game.

      In the month of January, the game system managed to win over 10 professional players, however it ended up losing to Grzegorz "MaNa" Komincz, but this is likely to change according to the software's machine learning. According to the partial results of the survey, only 0,2% of players were able to beat the machine.
