Valve recently announced the winners of the 2018 Steam Awards (Steam Awards). Voting was open to anyone who had a Steam account, and this time, it was not mandatory to vote on games released last year.
Considering the fact, the categories brought several surprises, including Grand Theft Auto V (released in 2013) and Rocket League (2015). PUBG ended up overtaking Fortnite, but this is due to the fact that it is no longer available on the platform, so it does not compete for the prize.
People who voted at the Steam Awards received commemorative cards to use on their accounts, one for each category. The election was open to the public in December last year and ended in January. The winners received a physical trophy at the hands of Valve.
