The first Sega product that Tectoy brought to Spain was the Zillion pistol in 1988, which became a bestseller at the time. A year later, the great Master System video game was released, which achieved a large number of sales, with 280 units sold at the end of 1990.

In December 1990, TecToy officially brought to Spain the successor to the Master System console, the Mega Drive and, of course, it was a great success. At this time, classic games were released, such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Mortal Kombat 3, Super Monaco GP, Super Monaco GP, Castle of Illusion, Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II, FIFA Soccer '97 Gold, Moonwalker, Streets of Rage, Top Gear, Super Street Fighter 2, among others.

The 60th anniversary of Sega, the Japanese company founded by Martin Bromley and Richard Stewart as Nihon Goraku Bussan, took place on June 3rd. However, the company's history began 20 years earlier in Hawaii, USA, with the name Standard Games, which focused on developing amusement machines on military bases during World War II. After the war, the founders sold Stardard Games and founded Service Games, which is short for the name Sega (SErvice GAmes).

Check out the tribute video that Tectoy made to Sega's 60th birthday below and hold on to the emotion, because it's a lot of nostalgia for those who lived through this era!
