Earlier this week, a new trailer was released for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, developed by Supermassive games. In the video, a new feature is demonstrated where several people can participate in the game, where each one selects their character to have fun with their friends.
From the same developers of Until Dawn, the new game is the result of Until that was released in the year 2015, where players were observed to stream the game and invite others to make their decisions. According to the game's director, Tom Heaton, players were divided among the characters and held an informal tournament to find out who would go the furthest.
With the player behavior mentioned above, the developers of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan decided to do what was already being done. When choosing the "Movie Night" game mode, a question will appear asking you to inform how many participants will play.
Throughout the game, when players are faced with a moment of decision, the "owner" of the chosen character is called to make his decision with the controller. However, there are more mechanics involved, such as statistics that show the decisions made by each person and in the end, this is accounted for in the form of prizes.
