The Last Remnant will arrive in remastered version on PlayStation after 10 years

After an incredible 10 years, The Last Remnant fans who have patiently waited to play on a PlayStation will finally be able to get a remastered version of the RPG on Sony's console. The game is coming on December 4th and 6th, the date of celebration of the game's 10th anniversary.

Initially, The Last Remnant was released exclusively for Xbox, in 2008, and since then, it was promised that the game would come to PlayStation 3. After so many years in which the promise was not fulfilled, Square Enix decided to create the remaster, with all the included content from the PC version (in which the game has been available for years), and no new content whatsoever.

One of the only Japanese RPGs that were made exclusively for Xbox, the developer never took a position on the delay in bringing The Last Remnant to Sony's console. According to an interview with the director of the game that was remastered, Kouichirou Sakamoto, the issue involves factors within the company.

At least now fans won't have to wait that long, as December is just around the corner. For those interested in getting that relic version, The Last Remnant will be priced at $20,00 on the PlayStation Store.
