The game in question is the upcoming Elite Squad, which Ubisoft announced in June 2019 during its E3 events. Since then, Ubisoft hasn't mentioned anything else so far.

Now, with Ubisoft's live streaming event taking place last Sunday, we finally have information to share about Tom Clancy's Elite Squad.

Including its release date. The interesting thing about this mobile game is that it includes characters from various Tom Clancy titles. Ubisoft is bringing together characters from its main franchises in this game.

The teams are also made up of the franchise's heroes and villains. Then you can have Sam Fisher, the main hero of the Splinter Cell series, partnering with El Sueno, the main villain of Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Ubisoft classifies the game as an RPG. While the game includes strategy, you control the movements of your entire five-member squad. It is unclear exactly how many different characters there are. But there are probably several that will please all fans of the franchise.

Ubisoft released a new trailer for the game, where it announced the official release date. Tom Clancy's Elite Squad is expected to appear for Android and iOS users starting August 27th. The game will be free and you can register now.

We still don't have any additional information about in-game purchases and any sort of starter pack for the game, but if you're a fan of Ubisoft's Tom Clancy series games, you'll probably enjoy Tom Clancy's Elite Squad.
