This week during Gamescom 2021, Dying Light 2: Stay Human won a new gameplay trailer. The content reveals more of the title's combat, also showing enemies and the updated parkour system.

Focusing on the scenarios of the world of Dying Light 2, the trailer shows in more detail the innovations in parkour and game combat, showcasing the evolution of the franchise for this second release.

During Gamescom 2021, Tymon Smektala, game development lead, and Dawid Lubryka, animation director, talked a little about the news of the title. The developers claim that Dying Light 2 has buildings that are considerably taller than those seen in the first game, which makes the new parkour system can be very well enjoyed by players.

In addition, it was also revealed that the developer worked alongside athletes to perform the motion capture, which allows for a more realistic parkour, as well as the movements will also be used in the new combat.

Dying Light 2 release

Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be released on the day December 7, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The title is an action and survival horror game, with RPG elements, developed and published by Techland.
