Twitch Streamer Suspended After Shooting a Real Gun at His Desk

When we say that it's dangerous to handle firearms, especially if you don't know how to handle them, believe me. Recently, a Call of Duty (CoD) Pro Player, during a live stream on Twitch, accidentally threw a gun he was holding during the video. Due to this, the game streaming platform decided to ban the player from its service.

Player Calr Riemer, picks up a real pistol during a live stream on Twitch

During the night, while streaming live, CoD shooting expert Carl Riemer, a former member of the FaZe Clan, picked up a real pistol. Jokingly, the player said:

"Bitch say I ain't got no money"

Then Calr kept pulling the bolt (or slide) of the gun repeatedly, when he suddenly pulled the trigger farther than he should have, making an accidental discharge. Luckily the shot only caught a pot of powdered energy that was on the table next to him, but it could have done a lot of damage if it hadn't been that lucky. Check out the video of the event below:

He obviously didn't know how to manipulate the object that was in his hand, because first, he shouldn't have his finger on the trigger guard, close to the trigger. Another mistake made was not locking the weapon so it wouldn't fire, through the lock and disarm register.

Due to the incident, Twitch banned Calr's channel and the SoaR Gaming organization, which the player was a part of, kicked him out. SoaR wrote on Twitter saying:

"We do not condone actions on Carl's live stream last night. He was removed from the SoaR Gaming list immediately."

Pro Player, in a video on Twitter and YouTube, said:

"I made the biggest mistake of my entire life last night, and it could ruin my life. I could have hurt someone. I could have hurt myself. I could have hurt one of my animals. And that's unforgivable. .. I've been using this weapon for two years, and it takes two seconds of stupidity to ruin everything. Ruin someone, ruin yourself. Don't do what I did."

Carl said he doesn't yet know how long the suspension on Twitch will last or if it will be permanent. The player also thanked SoaR for the measure taken, saying that what needed to be done was done. Pro Player complements saying:

"I made such a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake. All I can say is I'm sorry and I deserve it all. Every bit of reaction."
