➤Valorant receives new update (0.50), check out what has changed! 🕹

Today Riot Games announced an update to the beta version of Valorant and if you've been following the opinions of the game closely, there's a lot to do. This is something totally normal, after all it is an edition made available just for testing.

The new patch changes several agents and the 3 maps, as well as making some improvements and bug fixes that have been reported by users in the game.

Change in agents

When it comes to agents, Sage, Cypher, Omen, Viper, Brimstone and Phoenix have undergone modifications, so that there is a better balance of forces during battles and make the game fairer and everyone has an equal chance of victory. Sage's slow orb has been changed significantly, as has Cyber Cage's camera. Omen's Dark Cover gained a longer cooldown, but with a longer duration and more projectile speed.

There were also changes to effect abilities. Viper's snakebite radius has been increased, as has Phoenix and Brimstone's fireball and motolov.

General updates

In general game updates, it is now no longer possible to have more than 9000 credits (previously the limit was 12 thousand, which generated a lot of savings and a great advantage).

There was also an optimization to decrease the FPS drop.

Weapon update

There was also the upgrade of weapons, changing the recovery time of all rifles, making firing faster and more efficient. The machine guns also had an upgrade to make them more efficient.

On maps, most of the changes consisted of fixing exploits and overpowered points. This way players will have more opportunities to take control of the map.
