This is how this journey begins, in a world that features heavy elements with a hint of comedy. The Patriarch, as the dictator is called, rules Colorado Springs with a steady hand. The Patriarch is the one who unified the people and created a modern society, after ending the horrors that happened there when gangs did what they wanted. However, the man is also far from being a saint, which is clear when we realize that there is a terrible inequality in the place that is under his control. Furthermore, there is no room for democracy.

The game's plot becomes even more interesting when the player realizes that his choices will have a real influence on events. It is possible to choose to try to remove the dictator from power, just as you can close your eyes to the atrocities committed by man... the certainty is that each decision can drastically influence the game's history, changing the course of things and presenting grandiose consequences. .

This is something that makes Wasteland 3 so interesting. The way the game gives the freedom to interfere in the story is really pleasant and makes the player feel important in that world. Thus, the game gains even more immersion and manages to hold the audience's attention in an impressive way.
