Xbox Series S is confirmed through your controller box

There have been rumors for some time that Microsoft will launch a second console in addition to the Xbox Series X. The information says that it will be a cheaper version of the next generation video game from the Windows developer and will be called Xbox Series S. Now, the website The Verge managed to get photos of what appears to be the next-generation Xbox controller in white with mention of the name Xbox Series X/S, which proves the existence of the launch of a second console.

The author of the discovery was the user of the social network Twitter "Zak S" (zakk_exe) who posted several photos of the white Xbox controller, in addition to a print of the purchase made in an online store. On the side of the box, there are words that the controller works with the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. So far, Microsoft has not said anything about this white controller or the second console to be released in this new generation.

The white Xbox controller appears to be genuine as per the photos above. The accessory likely originates from the Xbox Series S, a cheaper version of Microsoft's new console, which is codenamed Lockhart.

Microsoft declined to comment on the leak of the next-gen controller for its new console. However, a Microsoft spokesperson told The Verge:

"We have a lot in store for Xbox in 2020 and we can't wait to share it with you. However, we have nothing to announce at this time."
