As we well know, the distribution of Android is quite slow, and the latest version of the system, Oreo, has arrived for a small portion of users. Google recently published a new distribution table of Android versions, updated with data up to December 11th.
As a novelty, Android 8.0 Oreo has surpassed Gingerbread. Now, the most current version, which arrived about three months ago, has 0,5% of the total users worldwide, that is, 0,1 percentage point more than the older version that was still present on the chart.

However, the older versions (Jelly Bean, Kit Kat, Lollipop, Marshmallow and Nougat) add up to 98,6%. Nougat has a 20,6% share, Marshmallow has 29,7% and has the biggest share. Lollipop owns 26,3%.
The latest version of Android, version 8.1 Oreo still doesn't appear in the most used list. The update was released a few days ago, so it is natural that it will take time to reach more users.
Versions with less than 0,1% of the share were not considered, even so, they did not disappear completely.
