A Electronic Arts e a DICE revealed today (28), that the battlefield 2042 open beta will be available worldwide on October 8th. Before that, on the day 6 October, the players who performed the pre sale of the title and the subscribers of the EA Play can check the title. It is worth remembering that the pre-download can be carried out on the 5 October, by all players.

In the Battlefield 2042 open beta, the public will be able to check out Conquest mode in Orbital mode, entering clashes for up to 128 players for the first time in the franchise. On PlayStation 4 and Xbox One the map supports up to 64 players.

"Set in Kourou, French Guiana, Battlefield 2042's Orbital map allows players to experience a race against time in hostile conditions as they battle around the site of an impending rocket launch. Sectors found on this map include the Battlefield Building. Assembly, Launch Pad and Transport Pad connecting the two. During a Conquest match, players will experience Battlefield's signature dynamic maps with an automated rocket launch sequence, zipline between power turrets, weather vehicular combat adverse events, including an unexpected tornado altering the flow of battle and more."

In the beta, players will also be able to check out All-Out Warfare, choosing from four unique experts, namely: Boris, a Russian engineer who comes with an SG-36; Casper, a South African specialist in camouflage and long-range attacks; Falck, a German doctor specializing in Support; and Mackay, a Canadian who lives as an outdoor nomad, equipped with a grappled grappling hook weapon.
