Bulletin, the App that will make you take the place of the nosy neighbors

Last Thursday (25) Google introduced a new app, called Bulletin, the app is focused on "hyperlocal" news and allows users to contribute information about the fact.

The app works in such a way that any user who witnesses a fact can report it in text, following it with images and videos. Those who also have information about the report can add it to the news, in real time, working with a kind of "bid by bid".

Example of news made through Bulletin.

Google's initiative seeks to provide a kind of platform for residents and even journalists, who cover more isolated regions and which receive little coverage, to disclose and record facts that occurred in the localities. The links created by Bulletin will appear in surveys and social networks, as well as very easy ways to share. The service is light and easy to use, allowing anyone to produce content without problems.

Traffic accidents, floods, fires, robberies and positive happenings such as events will be the publications that will receive the most attention.

There is still no information about editing or moderation of content by Google. After all, fake news and abuse can happen. The Bulletin is in the testing phase in two North American cities, Nashville and Oakland, and will soon undergo expansions, to reach Spain it should still take some time. But until then you can keep an eye on the project's official website.
