Coronavirus: Faced with the Epidemic, Xiaomi closes its physical stores in China

The situation with the coronavirus epidemic in China is increasing, the new virus has already killed about 81 people in China and seems to be spreading all over the world.

The latest events have made the WHO determine that the coronavirus is a "global risk". The Chinese government is struggling to find out more about the virus and treat patients affected by the disease.

Local smartphone companies such as Xiaomi and Huawei have announced measures to help the government deal with the new virus. Now, Xiaomi has announced that it will keep its physical stores spread across several cities in China closed.

The closure will take effect from January 29. According to the statement, stores will reopen on Monday, February 3. This was a press release from the tech giant earlier today.

Xiaomi says the measure is necessary to assist the work of preventing and controlling epidemics in China. After all, the coronavirus outbreak is currently a huge problem in China.

There are still not many answers about how the virus is spreading between people. Therefore, it is best to avoid direct contact with potentially infected people. After all, recent reports indicate that the virus can infect people before symptoms appear.

      2. If you need to buy products, please purchase them from xiaomi official website or xiaomi mall app. Logistics will be delivered normally. Due to the holidays, the logistics have a little delay. please forgive us.

      3. If you need after-sales service, please dial 4001005678. Xiaomi will provide free postal service after sale.

Although the period is relatively short, only 4 days, the procedure is part of epidemic control.

Other questions were raised about the epidemic, including the great doubt that still remained, can the coronavirus somehow be transmitted through contact with objects? For how long? In what way? These questions echo in the minds of all the people who here in Spain have the habit of importing products from China and who are now afraid to receive their products here.

We still do not have information on the procedures adopted by the Federal Revenue Service for receiving imported products at their inspection centers.
