Smartphone gamers are increasingly popular, and after many rumors and leaks, Xiaomi announced today (23) the new models of the Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro line. They have robust hardware, suitable for high performance and battery with support for fast charging that guarantees less time in the socket and more time playing.

In addition to the robust configuration, the devices have a reasonably interesting price, with equivalent values from R$ 2.120. The two have pretty much the same design, with the Pro version sporting a more ornate look. The main differences are in the camera and processor configurations.

    Design and construction

Both have the same design, with a camera module positioned at the rear in a horizontal position, very similar to the models in the ASUS ROG Phone line. While the regular version has a clean seamless texture, the Pro edition has an X-like design, with the S (Shark) logo being positioned in the center of the lid on both devices.

Inside, the devices keep a two-layer liquid cooling system. The first of these is positioned below the screen, and the second focuses on the overheating of components such as the battery, processor and so on. According to the manufacturer, this system is capable of reducing the temperature by up to 18 degrees, as heat dissipation is at least 30% more efficient.

The front is built with good screen usage, with relatively thin edges and just a small cutout at the top center to house the selfie camera. The fingerprint reader was inserted into the Power button located on the right side, while the volume keys were on the opposite side.

    Technical specifications

Still talking about the screen, the two models display the same configuration with Samsung's AMOLED E4 screen. That said, we have a 6,67-inch panel and 144Hz refresh rate and up to 720Hz sampling.

The differences become more evident when we compare the internal hardware. For example, the Black Shark 4 is integrated with the Snapdragon 870. The Pro version comes with the Snapdragon 888, the main chipset on the market today. Otherwise, everything remains the same, with memory options with 6GB, 8GB and 12GB of RAM for both models, in addition to 16GB exclusively for the Black Shark 4 Pro. The same goes for internal storage, with 128GB and 256GB for both, plus an additional 512GB for the fanciest edition of the series.

For autonomy, both have a 4.500 mAh battery, with support for 120W fast charging. During the presentation, Xiaomi proved the energy power of the devices confirming that the tank can be fully charged from 0% to 100% battery in just 14 minutes and 50 seconds.

In addition, it is worth remembering that both devices are equipped with an operating system optimized and adapted for games, with Android 11 running under the JOYUI 12.5 interface.
