Xiaomi launched its MIUI 9 in November this year, the company's new interface for Android. The owners of Mi 6 and Redmi Note 4X were the first to have the news.
Now Xiaomi starts testing a new version of its software based on Android 8.0 Oreo. Therefore, the tests of Android 8.0 Beta started on the Mi A1 and also on the Mi Mix 2.

To top it off, Xiaomi revealed that it is looking for users to test the Global ROM on the Redmi Y1 Lite and Redmi Y1 that were recently launched in India. The version on such devices will continue to be Android 7.9 Nougat.
