Initially scheduled for release on July 23, 2020, Crysis Remastered ended up delaying its premiere and was without a new release date until now. However, to the delight of fans of the franchise, Crytec and Saber Interactive announced a new date for Crysis Remastered to arrive for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
Today, a new trailer for Crysis Remastered was released, where the developers demonstrated the improvements made to the game with "high quality textures with up to 8K resolution, global illumination (SVOGI), next-gen depth fields, new light settings, of motion, ray-tracing and much more". Along with the reveal of the new trailer from Crytek and Saber Interactive, it was announced by the studios that Crysis Remastered will release on September 18th.
According to the information made available, ray-tracing will be present on Xbox One X and Playstation 4 Pro. On the PC, it will be possible to use ray-tracing in configurations that use NVIDIA's VKRay Vulkan extension or its Geforce RTX video cards.
