Discounts on sight! PS Store will have special Easter promotion

Sony has revealed that the PlayStation Store will receive a special Easter promotion, with discounts on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games. The PS Store sale will start on Wednesday (31st) and will run until April 28th! Players will have a full month to catch up on purchases and secure new adventures on PlayStation.

The list of games on sale has not yet been revealed, but Sony said via email that the PS Store will offer "huge savings on a variety of games, add-ons and more".

As this is apparently a huge promotion, it is possible to expect that this is the right time to acquire heavyweight titles, including recent industry releases and major PlayStation exclusives. Games like Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War can be bets on titles that will feature reduced prices.

While the reveal of the promotion is good news for PlayStation fans, the PS Store also features another somewhat disappointing subject for many gamers.

Sony revealed on Monday (29) that it will discontinue the PS Store for PlayStation 3, PSP and PS Vita, ending store services on these consoles from July 2nd.
