[Final Fantasy VII Remake] Classic Battle Mode Revealed During TGS 2019

The remake of Final Fantasy VII will feature a hybrid combat mechanic, where you have both the current and classic combat modes at the same time. The idea of the game's developers is to make battles more dynamic and turn-based at the same time. However, as there are more purist (or nostalgic) fans, a combat version was also made available as it was originally made in the game.

The novelty of being able to play FF VII Remake with the same mechanics as the original game was revealed during the Tokyo Game Show. The gameplay option based on the original is called "classic mode". In this mode, all the details were followed, including the wait for the ATB bar to complete to perform a command.

The difference between Classic Mode and the game's default, is that in the default the ATB bar will fill according to the attacks deferred against the enemies. Upon reaching 100% of the bar, the player will be able to activate the "wait mode" and select a special attack (skill, magic or use an item).
