    Final Fantasy VII Remake gets new images with Chocobo, Church, Aerith's house and more

    Square Enix recently released new images of the game it is developing, Final Fantasy VII Remake. The Japanese game developer has this time revealed the characters of Turks, an investigation branch of the Shinra Electric Power Company's General Affairs Department, the characters of Avalanche, an anti-Shinra group that aims to protect the planet, the "summoning" of Chocobos and Moogles, the church and house of Aerith, in sector 5.

    The Turks

    The Investigation Section of the Shinra Electric Power Company's General Affairs Department. A small, elite organization that carries out special operations, the Turks operate behind the scenes and handle everything from screening SOLDIER candidates to protecting VIPs, intelligence activities, and even assassinations.

    Member of the Turks, the investigation branch of the Shinra Electric Power Company's general affairs department. With red hair and a cynical smile, he always does what he wants. He is agile in battle and uses specialized weapons to unleash a multitude of attacks.

    Member of the Turks, the investigation branch of the Shinra Electric Power Company's general affairs department. A giant with a shaved head and sunglasses. He does not like irrational conversation and faithfully handles his duties. He doesn't carry a weapon, but fights using only martial arts that put his strong body to work.



    Avalanche

    An anti-Shinra group acting to protect the planet. Mako is the planet's life force, and Avalanche claims that the Shinra Company is draining the planet of life. There are currently several factions within the Avalanche, and the group that oversees Midgar, which consists of Barret and company, is dynamic and does not hesitate to use force.

    A member of the anti-Shinra Avalanche group. The sharpest and most capable person on the team, he is responsible for strategic planning. He calmly follows Barret, who has a habit of freaking out one way or another. He has a tidy personality and loves to shower and clean.

    A member of the anti-Shinra Avalanche group. He uses his connections and charm to gather information and reconcile with opposing forces. He also plays an important role in testing 7th Heaven's new menu items. A mood maker, he is the team's indispensable lubricant.

    A member of the anti-Shinra Avalanche group. She is responsible for Avalanche's purchases, obtaining everything necessary to carry out its operations, from explosives to false identifiers. She is also a skilled engineer and manufactures and sells items such as water filtration devices for income. She is affectionate and has a weakness for handsome men.



    Battle System: Classic Mode

    Classic Mode can be activated by selecting "Classic" from the difficulty menu. In Classic Mode, party members act automatically, with the ATB gauge filling as they do. In this mode, the player only needs to select which skills, magic and items they will use their ATB charges for. This brings the gameplay feel closer to the menu-based battles of the original Final Fantasy VII, but with the remake's amazing immersive graphics. It is also possible to revert to direct control at any time during Classic Mode by pressing buttons on the controller.

    Battle System: Cloud

    Cloud can "attack" with his sword at close range with the Square button and create combos by repeatedly pressing Square. Holding Square, Cloud can unleash a radial attack.

    unique skill

    The Triangle button activates each character's unique ability. The cloud's unique ability is to switch between different fighting styles. He can switch between "Operator Mode", which has a good balance between offense and defense, and "Punisher Mode", which is heavily geared towards offense. In Punisher mode, Cloud's movement speed is reduced, but his square button basic attacks are upgraded to even stronger attacks.

    Skills


    - Triple slash

    The cloud slashes enemies with three consecutive attacks. Its power increases when hitting multiple enemies.

    - Blade Burst

    A ranged attack in which Cloud fires a magical blast from his blade.

    weapon upgrade

    By unlocking the main matter skills on weapons, they can be upgraded to increase their power.

    Weapon Skills

    Each weapon has its own unique abilities, which increase in proficiency the more they are used. When a skill's proficiency level reaches its maximum, that skill is learned by the user and can be used when wielding any weapon.

    Fogo

    Materia that allows you to use fire attribute magic like "Fire". It evolves from "Fire" to "Fira" and "Firaga".

    To evaluate

    Material that allows you to use the "Evaluate" skill. When you use Assessment on an enemy, you can see their strengths and weaknesses, making it easier to defeat them in battle.

    Summon (summon)

    By equipping Summon Materia, you will be able to summon a powerful ally once the special summon meter fills. The summon will fight alongside you automatically on the battlefield, but you can also use your own ATB charges to have them perform special abilities. Just before they leave the fight, your ally will unleash a powerful special move!

    Chocobo & Moogle

    A world travel moogle riding on top of its chocobo partner. It's cute in cute, whose simple sight provides healing.

    Chocobo and Moogle use their Special Move "Stampede" to trample the enemy with a herd of chocobos.

    Locations

    Final Fantasy VII locations have been faithfully recreated in high quality. Several locations that could not be explored in the original version were also added.

    church in the slums

    The old church on the edge of Sector 5 Favelas. The building is old and houses the test rocket launched by Shinra. One of the few places where flowers grow in the ruined slums, Aerith tends to the garden in her spare time.

    Aerith's house

    A house located in a corner of Sector 5 Favelas. Aerith and her mother Elmyra live there. They grow a variety of colorful flowers in their garden, and each day Aerith delivers them to the residents of Midgar. Clean water flows from the cliff behind the house, which, together with the beauty of the house itself, creates a beautiful slum scene.
