Much to the disappointment of fans of the wizarding universe, Niantic announced today that it will continue with Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is no longer in your plans, so the game will be disabled. The company will terminate the title services.
Released just over two years ago, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite hit the market to be the "Pokémon Go" of the wizarding franchise. The game has mechanics and functioning extremely similar to the title that puts you to hunt monsters in real life, but being set in the magical universe of Harry Potter.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will be retired in 2022
Unfortunately, the title did not achieve the same success as Pokémon Go, being a much less popular game. Therefore, the developer concluded that it is not interesting to continue the game, announced that Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will leave the App Store, Google Play and Galaxy Store on December 6rd.
The game will be officially deactivated on the day 31 January 2022.
Last months will have events and rewards
The last few months of the game will have increased rewards and reduced cooldowns, as the company has also announced a calendar with events that will reach the title.
