[Fortnite] Epic Games postpones The Device event to 15/06 and Season 3 to 17/06

Recently Epic Games, due to the recent protests against police violence against black people (George Floid murder episode), decided to postpone their event and release plans. There was also the same attitude on the part of other companies in the gaming industry, such as Sony, postponing its PS5 game demo event, and CD Projekt Red studio, postponing the Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire live stream.

Fortnite developer says:

"We are keenly aware of the suffering our friends, families, teammates, players and communities are experiencing at this time. We believe in fairness and equality, diversity and inclusion, and these principles take precedence over politics."

While Fortnite players and game developers are looking forward to more content related to the title, the game studio needs to weigh what is most important and without a doubt it is necessary to pause for reflection on ourselves, our families and in our communities.

Bearing in mind the above, the Fortnite developers have decided to postpone the "The Device" event to June 15th (Monday) and the Season 17 premiere to June XNUMXth (Wednesday).
