Space for indie games
Gamescom 2021 will still have a big space for indie games, according to Felix Falk, manager of The German Games Industry Association. It is promised that during the 3 days of the event, in addition to great triple AAA games and presentations by large companies, 80 independent games will also be shown to the public.
Organizers are excited about the event, says Oliver Frese, one of Koelnmesse's managers.
"Given the challenges for game production during the pandemic and a short lead-up to a digital event, we are very excited about the impressive list of partners already confirmed for the conference."
