Yesterday, during the Playstation 5 Showcase, Sony presented us with a brief presentation of what the sequel to the game God of War released in 2018 will be about. Developed by Santa Monica Studio, the game will likely resume the journey of Kratos and his son, Atreus, after the events that occurred earlier. If you really follow the last title's credits video, the characters will have to continue the battle against various Norse gods and heroes, including Thor.
For those new to the God of War franchise, Sony has included the original God of War game in the recently announced Playstation Plus Collection, which will allow players to access older titles to play on PS5. In this way, people will be able to better understand the series to play the new game that will be released for Playstation 5.

Unfortunately, it is only known that the God of War sequel will arrive in 2021, where during the Playstation 5 Showcase only the words "Ragnarok is coming" were displayed.

Developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), God of War (2018) is the eighth action-adventure game in the franchise featuring Kratos, the former Greek god of war. Its plot is the continuation of the story of God of War III, released in 2010, and has its development based on Norse mythology. Set in a setting of ancient Norway, in the kingdom of Midgard, Kratos, after the death of his second wife, begins his journey along with his son Atreus.
