Google invests in Chinese game streaming platform

Google has started investing heavily in a Chinese live game streaming company. The value of the deal is 120 million dollars. Called Chushou, the platform specializes in streaming matches via smartphones. It was founded in 2015 and currently has 8 million active users and is responsible for broadcasting more than 250 sessions broadcast daily.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that Google has invested in the gaming content market. A few years ago, the search giant launched YouTube Gaming, which aimed to directly compete with Twitch.
