Google reveals Stadia, its new streaming game service

This Tuesday (19), Google made an important revelation to the world during a conference in San Francisco in the United States. The company launched its new streaming gaming platform, Stadia. The service will work via streaming, thus, without the need for a physical console, only with a specific control, produced exclusively for Stadia.

The controller in question has a very similar format to the Xbox One and PS4, including the A, B, Y, Y, and directional and analog buttons. The platform will work from computers, tablets, cell phones and TVs.

According to Google, Stadia is "a platform where everyone can do everything, aimed at gamers, game producers and game creators".

"Stadia gives you instant access to play," says Harrison. That means no need to download or even install any games. At launch, games will stream on laptops, desktops, TVs, tablets and phones.

To be able to leverage the flow in the cloud, Google is improving its global infrastructure of data centers to ensure that servers are as close as possible to players around the world. Google has partnered with AMD to create a custom GPU for their data centers.

One of the first games released on Google's Stadia service will be Doom Eternal, which will support 4K resolution, HDR and 60 fps.

As we know, Google will face strong competitors, already established in the market.
