The King of Fighters XV arrives later this year

Despite not yet having a specific release month and no confirmed platforms, the new franchise game is scheduled to arrive in 2021.

Over the past few weeks, SNK has revealed many characters that will be featured in the title, which has fans excited for what's to come. Names like Shun'Ei, Joe Higashi, Leona, Mai Shiranui and Benimaru have already been confirmed.

SNK also revealed more details about Benimaru's team, which will feature Shun'Ei and Meitenkun as the other two members. With the announcement of Kyo Kusanagi, the question remains whether soon the character will have a team revealed or if this will take some time to occur.

The King of Fighters X will continue the franchise, delivering the well-known 3-on-3 team battles, with teams that will feature different stories and endings. In the coming weeks, players should meet even more characters and teams, with trailers revealing more of the characters and showing them in action against other fighters.
